Comments on Crab Raft Remix
from Highland Productions

"I've always loved the intensely mysterioso feel of the Crab Raft music -- beautiful music!  It worked for Fate the way that underwater chorus worked in JIM. [Indy Infernal Machine] Great stuff, and the remix is beautiful too."

Hal Barwood,
Project Leader of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

"It's great  - really warm, very nice scoring and beautiful flute playing. (...) It was nice to hear it sound this good, I assure you it never did! We were writing all that on the Roland MT-32, and there certainly were no live players in games in those days! Heck, there wasn't even audio in the initial release! (MIDI only - and most everyone had only 2-OP FM chips) The CD version (one of the first CD releases ever) came out a year later with full voice, but no audio SFX! The old days!  You know on that project, I would turn in MIDI files that were taking up too much memory, I actually had to thin notes and/or cut sections so that the MIDI file didn't take up too much RAM! If I recall correctly, 32K was considered a huge file!"

Clint Bajakian,
Composer of the original crab raft theme
